IB Days in Egypt

The International Baccalaureate cordially invites you to attend one of our IB Days. These events will introduce you to IB education, its benefits, and its programmes. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the implementation of IB programmes and how those programmes promote the development of 21st century skills.

The IB creates well-rounded young people who have the knowledge, skills and sense of purpose they need to thrive throughout their lives and contribute to making the world a better place. Founded in 1968, currently there are close to 1.95 million IB students in over 5600 schools in 160 countries across the world.

What you will get:

  • Cairo: Attend an inspiring session on the benefits of being an IB educator featuring IB Heads of Schools and Coordinators from Greenland Pre Vert International School, Ecole Oasis Internationale, Groupe Scolaire Oasis, Global Paradigm Baccalaureate School, Hayah International Academy, Notion International School and Modern English School in Cairo.
  • Alexandria: A second session featuring IB Heads of Schools from Schutz American School, Gems Academie D'Alexandrie and Elite International School in Alexandria.
  • A great opportunity to network with fellow colleagues, and discuss education topics related to the IB.


      • In addition, the IB Development and Recognition Manager for Egypt, Dr Kawther Saa’d AlDin, will lead discussions and presentations on the following topics:

      • An introduction to the International Baccalaureate
      • What is an IB Education? Why IB?
      • An introduction to IB programmes
      • How to become an IB World School

The IB Day will be held at the following locations, from 09:00 am to 14:00 (2 pm). The venues are as follows:
