IB Day in Doha, Qatar

The International Baccalaureate (IB), in collaboration with Qatar IB Association cordially invites you to attend the IB Day in Doha. This event will introduce you to IB education, its benefits, and the global recognition of IB programmes. You will also have the opportunity to learn more about the implementation of IB programmes in Qatar.

The IB creates well-rounded young people who have the knowledge, skills and sense of purpose they need to thrive throughout their lives and contribute to making the world a better place. Founded in 1968, currently there are close to 1.95 million IB students in over 5600 schools in 160 countries across the world.


The IB will lead discussions and presentations on the following topics:

  • 7:45-8:00 Welcome and registration
  • 8:00-8:15 IB Panel discussion: Mrs. Mary Tadros, Mr. Mahmoud Amra, Mr. Mehdi Benchaabane
  • 8:15-9:45 What is an IB education and how to become an IB school: orientation sessions on PYP, MYP, DP and CP
  • 9:45-10:00 Coffee Break
  • 10:00-11:30 Continuation of the orientation sessions on our programmes: PYP, MYP, DP and CP


The IB Day will be held at the following location, from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm. The venue is as follows:
