The International Baccalaureate (IB), in collaboration with the Bahrain Association of IB World Schools (BAIBWS), warmly invites you to our upcoming IB Day on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, at Beacon Private School.
This event will run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and feature a series of engaging workshops designed to foster professional growth and collaboration among educators.
IB Day 2025 presents a unique opportunity for both IB and non-IB educators to unite for a day of enriching professional development. The event will feature workshops conducted in both Arabic and English, ensuring inclusivity and wide participation.

Mrs. Mary Tadros, IB Development and Recognition Senior Manager and Dr. Kawther Saa’d AlDin IB Development and Recognition Manager will run two workshops, the first one will be comprehensive introduction to IB education and delivering a powerful continuum of student-centric learning for students aged 3-19 years. We will also highlight the successful implementation of IB programme in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In the second session we will delve into the IB’s four programmes and how IB develops inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who are motivated to succeed. These sessions will also support IB Authorized and Candidate schools interested in adding Programmes.
Additionally, educators from various schools will run several workshops focusing on various aspects of education such as the use of AI in teaching and learning, effective strategies for librarians to support education, guiding students through creative projects, best practices for internal assessments, and developing inquiry-based unit plans. These workshops aim to enhance professional development and provide practical strategies for the classroom.
